[ad#post-side]Make sure that you blog often and provide your readers with ongoing fresh information. If you don’t stay on top of it, your readers will be looking for their information or entertainment elsewhere.

Ideally, you should blog several times each week, with a minimum of once a week. The more often you blog the better your blog will do.

If you can give your blog readers what they want, you can be reasonably sure of having a decent audience.

Here are different types of content that you may want to include in your blog:

  • Tips and advice – Provide useful tips and suggestions that your customers can use. Remember to keep the tips focused on your blog theme. It is important to provide your readers with information that will teach them something, keep them informed, or keep them entertained.
  • Human Interest – We all love ‘human interest’ stories. Many top companies are using blogs to deliver more personal messages about their companies – and the strategy is working. Talk about your company president who likes to drive race cars. Or your Vice President who is a mother of two. Or talk about something funny that happened at the office.
  • Reviews/Recommendations – Tell your readers why they should or should not use a particular product. Recommendations are very powerful to your devoted readers because they trust your opinion.
  • Quotes – It is always beneficial to add a short quote on your blog entries. Just make sure the quotes that you use are consistent with the theme of your blog.

You can find free content for your blogs at article sites. You must follow the rules outlined in the article site. This usually means keeping the author’s contact information and links in place. Below you can find some links to article sites:

Please let me know if you’re looking for a writer for your blog. You have some really good posts and I believe I would be a good asset. If you ever want to take some of the load off, I’d absolutely love
to write some content for your blog in exchange for a link back to mine.
Please send me an e-mail if interested. Thanks!
