WordPress IS the ultimate content management system and it’s progressing more with every update. On top of that, more and more very cool plugins and themes are being developed to help make your WordPress sites the best they can be.

I did a post a while back about using WordPress as a salesletter for your products and services.

In that post I talked about how you can use WordPress to present your product or service salesletters and still get all of the huge SEO benefits that come with WordPress.

Now I want to tell you about very cool WP Theme that ROCKS THE HOUSE when it comes to selling products and services and using WordPress.

The theme is call “FlexSqueeze” and it’s AMAZING!

This one theme lets you have BOTH a normal WordPress blog AND separate pages in full salesletter and “SqueezePage” format.

This is the ULTIMATE WordPress theme right now.

Imagine being able to have all of the power of normal search engine optimized WP blog, and being able to setup special optin and product pages that are built to convert more people into buys and still have the powerful WP SEO built right in.

It’s amazing.

With all of the search engine changes and it getting harder to get really good SE ranks without some sort of a blog or power system behind your sites, this is the perfect time to start using WordPress as much as possible for ALL of your websites.

“FlexSqueeze” is an all-in-one answer.

Listing building - covered

Salesletters - covered

Normal blogging - covered

And when you add the power of other WP plugins like All-In-One SEO and Twitter Tools and some of the other more powerful plugins, you’re blog is going to skyrocket and you’ll see more optins and customers.

So – should you get the “FlexSqueeze” theme?

Well, are you serious about blogging and making money – that’s the question you should be asking yourself.

If you are serious, then YES! – if you’re not that serious, just go get a free theme from the WordPress theme site.

I recommend “FlexSqueeze” though

Most people today that start blogging do so because they want to make some income from their new blog.

Whether it’s a content based blog to generate affiliate commissions, or a product blog to help promote a product or service, or even just a flat out blog to share info, at some point you need to start making some sort of an income from the blog to pay for it’s hosting, domain and the time you spend adding your content.

If it’s an affiliate marketing based blog, that’s the whole point of the blog in the first place. To make some cash from adding content to your website and giving people a few links to click that are relevant and generate a commission for you.

Or, to provide some sort of a contextual advertising campaign on the blog and get paid per-click.

In the end, if you have a blog, you’re most likely looking to make some cash from it.

So, here are a few WordPress plugins that will help out with your blog monetization efforts

WPAds - WPAds is a WordPress plugin for showing and rotating ads in your blog. You only have to define the ad positions and the ads you want to rotate in each position, and WPAds will serve your ads randomly.

WP-AMAZON - This plugin adds the Amazon catalog right to your WordPress admin section and allows you to pick which Amazon products (using their associate program) you want to add to your posts. If you’re posting about something that Amazon sells, this is a good way to get those relevant Amazon affiliate ads right in your posts for you.

Buy Sell Ads - This simple plugin helps you easily integrate your Buy Sell Ads zones and includes anti-AdBlock measures to prevent AdBlock (and similar software) from blocking the advertisement.

PostPost - This little plugin allows you to put ads right in your blog RSS feed. By doing this, you make sure even those people who only read your RSS will see some ads and hopefully help in your revenue generation efforts. This is the perfect plugin for anyone who really pushes their RSS feed a lot.

AdSense Manager - Now this is a plugin you should have even if you’re not using AdSense on your blog! Why? Well, it helps you easily ad AdSense ads to your blog posts, pages and side bar, yes, but it also helps you ad other ads as well. Affiliate banners and all sorts of other ads. PLUS! Plus, it also helps you add other types of code right into your blog posts and pages. Stuff like javascript, youtube or flash videos and so. Just use it with those codes like you would an ad code and you’re good to go.

WP Affiliate Elite - This is a great plugin for all of those “Lazy” bloggers and affiliate marketers out there. This plugin makes it easy as heck to add your affiliate links to any keywords or keyword phrases in your posts and pages automatically. Imagine being able to just write up a quick blog post on a product you’re promoting, add a few keywords and publish, and knowing that the keywords you added are automatically linked to your affiliate link.

Now of course there are other WordPress plugins to help monetize your blog, but these are good ones to start with.

One thing to keep in mind when you’re planning out your blog monetization strategies is that your reads will want to learn something, read something interesting or get some entertainment from your content. So keep that in mind. If you help people in some way or give them useful or entertaining information, your monetization methods will work much better for you.
